This year has been a roller coaster for most of us with the economy and our jobs and being on lock down where we can't go out at our normal cadence like we are all so used to doing. I came up to Oregon in February of this year expecting a full month (work agreed to more this time around) and then I'd be heading back to CA per the normal rotation. COVID started (whether you believe 25/50/75/100% of what is out in the news doesn't matter) and as a result work told me to stay put. I've been staying up here with my family since then including one trip we took together end of last month to visit CA (family and work). One major positive that has come out of all of this craziness is to be able to be with my family more of the time and it has really healed some of the hurt over the 1.5 years we were apart. Hold your loved ones close and show them how much they mean to you despite all the craziness that has been our lives in 2020. You'll never get that time back.
