This is intended for our Mothers. Not disrespecting Father's but we have our day.
We are born into this world and if we are lucky we get to touch and smell our Mother within moments of being subjected to what must we can only assume is a very harsh change to the previous months we spent inside of her growing and developing. This touch and smell is able to sooth us in a way nothing else can. It develops a bond at our core with our Mother and is probably one of the very most special feelings we ever get to have while we are alive on this planet.
Mothers care for us from the moment we are born by feeding us, holding us, cleaning us, and everything else they do simply because they love us so much. They accept that their life will be forever different from the moment they decide to carry us in the womb and they adjust their lives to make ours possible.
They kiss boo-boos, they feed us even though we make a complete mess, they teach us to read and do things so we can become independent. They scold us when we need it. They care about who we date and if we are being taken care of.
Being a Mother is scary. It's hard. I've witnessed Ann do everything possible for our kids which taught me about everything I didn't understand as a young child about what my Mother experienced. I can't imagine my children not having her.
We are lucky to have Mothers. They are something this world requires or it would be a darker meaner place. Growing up would be harder. Learning to love would be harder. Having kids of own would be harder.
Tell your Mother how much she means to you. Make today all about her. Do the sames for your Wife if she is a mother and you have children. They deserve to be spoiled and focused on. Show and tell them how much you appreciate everything they do for you and your children.
I love you Mom. I love you Ann. You are both so special to me
