There are moments in life when things you really want don't end up happening. Something came up at work and I was on the list of considered resources. A few weeks were spent in terms of time and energy to work toward the outcome I was desiring but in the end it didn't turn out the way I had hoped. That took me a few days to get over and figure out.

In the end, it is going to be a better situation. I have gained more respect and standing among my peers regardless and the people I answer to have plans for me in another area down the line. I'm excited for that.
